It’s hard to believe it’s been twenty years since Cary Elwes and Leigh Whannell first found themselves chained up in a dingy room with a corpse on the floor and some handy hacksaws in the toilet. That was our introduction to the un-killable Saw franchise.
Two decades — and countless corpses — later, the 10-film Saw 20th Anniversary Edition is arriving on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital from Lionsgate. The hit franchise chronicles the shenanigans of that rascal Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) through endless twists, turns, and gut-churning games of torture.
The set includes (take a deep breath — unless you’re trapped in some sort of lung-crushing torture device): Saw, Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI, Saw 3D (should this have been called “Saw 7D”?), Jigsaw, Spiral: From the Book of Saw, and, last but not least, Saw X.
Special features have yet to be revealed, but should be announced soon. The Saw 10-Film Collection 20th Anniversary Edition will be available for the suggested retail price of $79.99 on disc and digital formats starting March 5.
