Hallmark Ornaments  -submitted by Tom Smithyman

For those of us who like a Christmas tree with lots of pop culture reference, you can’t go wrong with Hallmark ornaments. This year’s batch includes throwbacks to gaming systems, including Nintendo’s NES, Sega’s Dreamcast, and a Legend of Zelda game cartridge. If that’s not enough for the gamer in you, there are ornaments for Minecraft, Pokeman, Mario Kart, Fortnite, and Animal Crossing. Hopefully Santa will bring some of these real consoles and games under the tree, but just in case, they’ll be well represented on the Yule tree.

Fanhome Star Wars Millenium Falcon Build-Up Subscriptions -submitted by Brendan Allen

Several models of the Millennium Falcon were used to make the original Star Wars trilogy – but the most iconic version was built for the action sequences in the second movie, The Empire Strikes Back. The Fanhome version is an official replica and designed to the same scale. The molded die-cast metal and resin components make this ultimate Millennium Falcon replica extremely easy to construct, with an unprecedented level of realism.

While I was at the Fanhome booth at NYCC ‘23 checking out the ET Build-Up model, they told me about the massive Millenium Falcon Build-Up they were also offering. This thing is 32” long by 23” wide. Sounds cool, I thought, but where would I put it? This thing mounts on the wall, y’all.

Know someone who loves Brit comics? Odds are they’re going to love something from the V&A Dundee Beano collection – all featured Dennis The Menace & Gnasher or Minnie The Minx.

Star Trek Holiday Icons Wrapping Paper – $7.95  -submitted by Tom Smithyman

Boldly go into the holidays this year by forgetting the present! Instead, Make the presentation something they can take with them into the 23rd century. Genre fans will be slow to open anything wrapped with this luscious paper. It featured the original Star Trek logo, along with traditional holiday images interspersed with phasers, IDICs, Starfleet deltas, and silhouettes of the original Enterprise. Oddly enough, the website says you can return the paper within 30 days for any reason. It’s probably best not to test them on that, though.

For the action figure fan who prefers Marvel Comics -submitted by Tony Thornley

There’s no denying Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line is a standard bearer for affordable highly posable action figures with great sculpts. The line has released incredible figures from all across the history of both Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. To celebrate the accomplishments of the MCU, Hasbro is releasing a line of figures featuring Marvel Studios’ biggest characters. Our favorite is a toss-up between Tom Holland’s Spider-Man as he appears in Captain America: Civil War or Chris Evans’ Captain America in his stealth suit from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The line is available for pre-order now from all major retailers, as well as Hasbro’s website.

Hairball Hardcover – With a Pet Sketch – $100  -submitted by Tom Smithyman

Leave it to writer and illustrator Matt Kindt to come up with a great bespoke gift idea for pet lovers. Kindt’s recent series Hairball, is collected in a hardcover edition here for the first time. As he often does, Kindt is offering the book – which include a die-cut cover complete with fur – signed and sketched for $60. But for another $40, he’ll include a watercolor portrait of your pet in the book. It doesn’t need to be a cat, and if you’ve read the series, you know that is probably a good thing. A word of warning though: Kindt is not guaranteeing Christmas delivery on these.

Thalamus: The Art of Dave McKean Slipcased Set – $149.99  -submitted by Tom Smithyman

Dave McKean is one of the most iconic artist of his generation. Known for his mind-blogging covers for The Sandman and his inside pages for Arkham Asylum, McKean never fails to deliver or amaze. This two-volume set includes examples of his work from those editions as well as from Cages, Black Dog, and Raptor. It also features never-before-seen bonus material with commentary by McKean. The artist also designed the slipcase. The set features a foreword by author David Boyd Haycock.

For the Marvel reader in your life -submitted by Tony Thornley

One of the most consistently good comic series of the last forty years has been without question Daredevil. The character has seldom seen even a bad issue, much less an entire run that’s no good. One of the greatest of the greats is far and away Mark Waid, Chris Samnee, Marcos Martin, and Paolo Rivera. The series didn’t shy away from the darkness that’s been baked into Daredevil’s life since the legendary Frank Miller run, but is generally a brighter and more optimistic run. The omnibus is an incredible purchase, but the individual trades are all well worth every penny as well. It’s available through your local comic book store, as well as Amazon.

MACYS – $149.99

Licensed Silicone Rings By Enso Rings -submitted by Brendan Allen

A while back, I was pretty stoked to hear that a major silicone rings manufacturer had licensed DC and Marvel rings. That company didn’t do much advertising in the comics and conventions space, though, and the lines fell away pretty quickly.

A few weeks ago at LA Comic Con, I was pleasantly surprised to find the Enso Rings booth. The folks at Enso not only have DC and Marvel lines, they also have Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Disney, Harry Potter, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Pixar licenses. Whatever your niche nerdy preference, Enso Rings has you covered for around $45.
