When strange people start appearing in an adopted girl’s life, she falls into turmoil, as her seemingly ordinary world rapidly turns upside down. I’ve already hyped up The Witch movies in a previous article. But I really need more people to see these films. From the subtly implied world-building to the bonkers splatterpunk action The Witch: Subversion is in a class of it’s own. If you enjoy this film I’d also recommend The Witch 2: the Other One.
