Rebel Moon is a new science fiction film by Zack Snyder (Justice League), described as a cross between Star Wars and Seven Samurai. The script is being co-written by Snyder, Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead, John Wick 3), and Kurt Johnstad (300). Sofia Boutella (Kingsmen: Secret Service) will star in the film along side Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, and Ray Fisher. The core cast will be supported by Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi, and Sky Yang. 
Rebel Moon will be a Netflix original film with the potential to open up a shared universe.
