Matthew Vaughn’s follow up to Kingsmen follows the globe-trotting adventures of a super-spy named Argylle (Henry Cavill) across the United States, London and other exotic locations. Except not all is as it appears, Argylle is in fact, the lead character a series of best-selling espionage novels written by Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard). But when Argylle’s exploits begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization Elly becomes a target for assassination. Accompanied by Aiden (Sam Rockwell), a cat-allergic spy, Elly (carrying Alfie in her backpack) races across the world to stay one step ahead of the killers as the line between Elly’s fictional world and her real one begins to blur.
