When I was a kid I was delighted by giant monsters. As an adult, I’m still totally stoked whenever I see them. (Editor’s note: Can confirm) Something about giant monster movies be they rubber suites or computer-generated, animated, or action figures just makes me smile. And in my book, the king of monsters is, and always will be, Godzilla.
In the Shōwa era, Godzilla evolved from a rampaging force of malevolent destruction to a more benevolent protector of humanity and Super7’s Toho ReAction Figures have also evolved with a whole new wave including Godzilla ‘74, Mechagodzilla ‘74 in Space Titanium, Megalon, and Minya also known as Son of Godzilla. Now I am not going to lie and say that I did not pretend that the empire was ruled over by Emperor Anton back in my early childhood, but I never fooled myself into thinking that the Seatopina’s god Megalon could beat Godzilla.
