Super7’s ‘Godzilla’ Wave 3 Rises From The Deep

Welcome to the table,

When I was a kid I was delighted by giant monsters. As an adult, I’m still totally stoked whenever I see them. (Editor’s note: Can confirm) Something about giant monster movies be they rubber suites or computer-generated, animated, or action figures just makes me smile. And in my book, the king of monsters is, and always will be, Godzilla.

In the Shōwa era, Godzilla evolved from a rampaging force of malevolent destruction to a more benevolent protector of humanity and Super7’s Toho ReAction Figures have also evolved with a whole new wave including Godzilla ‘74, Mechagodzilla ‘74 in Space Titanium, Megalon, and Minya also known as Son of Godzilla. This set is so rad, so let’s dive in.

A pretender to the throne, but still amazing with its rocket fingers and flashing eyes, Mechagodzilla is a true titan of terror. This articulated, 3.75” scale Toho ReAction Figure of Mechagodzilla features bright silver paint emulating the Space Titanium it’s made of in the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. Taken from the end of the Shōwa era, this Toho ReAction Figure of Mechagodzilla ‘74 shows that the threat to humanity is still grave, and Godzilla may be our only hope. You can order this mecha-nightmare at this link.

The Seatopians are an illustrious race, ruled by Emperor Antonio. They were the first civilization to inhabit the Earth, and reside in a huge subterranean country called Seatopia, home to massive underground and underwater cities that resemble those constructed by the people of Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, and other ancient civilizations. Now I am not going to lie and say that I did not pretend that the empire was ruled over by Emperor Anton back in my early childhood, but I never fooled myself into thinking that the Seatopina’s god Megalon could beat Godzilla.

This articulated, 3.75” scale Toho ReAction Figure of Megalon depicts the giant insectoid as seen in the 1973 film Godzilla vs. Megalon. Taken from the end of the Shōwa era, this Toho ReAction Figure of Megalon shows that the threat to humanity is still grave, and Godzilla may be our only hope! You can pick up this disastrous deity at the link.

Look at him! LOOK AT HIM! This is the heir to the throne, the master of mischief, the boy who will be king. This articulated, 3.75” scale Toho ReAction Figure of Minya features Godzilla’s adopted son looking very much like a young child with only a few teeth and a pudgy physique. He may not be the most imposing Kaiju but the Toho ReAction Figure of Minya shows that good things can often come in small packages. You can order this little guy at this link.

Hail to the King. Godzilla has arisen once more, to take on Mechagodzilla and all others who would try and throw the natural order out of balance. This articulated, 3.75” scale Toho ReAction Figure of Godzilla ‘74 features the mighty monster as depicted in the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, with large eyes and a serious expression. Taken from the end of the Shōwa era, this Toho ReAction Figure of Godzilla ‘74 shows that the threat to humanity is still grave, and Godzilla may be our only hope! You can order this figure at the link.

Until next time, GO GO GODZILLA!
