The upcoming DC Animated Original Movie, Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, will bout in October.
The film, Warner Bros. Animation’s first-ever all-CG animated project, centers on 11-year-old Jonathan Kent (Jack Dylan Glazer) and assassin-turned-Boy-Wonder Damian Wayne (Jack Griffo) as their respective fathers are captured by Starro. The Star Conqueror also has plans for the world’s other superheroes, so it’s up to the boys to get used to their abilities and each other if the planet has any chance of rescue. The cast also includes Troy Baker as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Superman/Clark Kent, Laura Bailey as Lois Lane, Darin De Paul as Lex Luthor & Starro, Tom Kenny as Green Arrow & Penguin, Zeno Robinson as Jimmy Olsen & Melvin Masters, Nolan North as Jor-El, and Myrna Velasco as Wonder Girl & Lara.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War‘s Matt Peters directs from a script by Mortal Kombat Legends‘s Jeremy Adams. Jim Krieg (Batman: Gotham By Gaslight) serves as producer with Rick Morales (Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders) as supervising producer. Executive producers include Michael Uslan and Sam Register.
And as is tradition for the DC Animated releases, the disc and digital versions come with a special featurette, Rival Sons: Jonathan and Damian, detailing some of the history and rivalry between the two Super Sons.
Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons debuts on disc and digital October 18th.
