After much ballyhoo about its relative lateness, Disney has finally released a teaser trailer for July’s Thor: Love and Thunder. In it, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) announces he is a superhero no more and that he must find a new way to live. The statement is incongruous with much of the imagery, which sees the Odinson adventuring on strange worlds, getting back into shape, and palling around with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Could it all be a ruse for some reason? And will the arrival of a new Thor (Natalie Portman) wielding Mjolnir change his plans?
Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8th.
