Shivers, an early effort from the Canadian body horror maestro (director of The Fly, Dead Ringers, Videodrome and many others), arrives in a special 4K/Blu-ray steelbook version exclusively available at Walmart.
Once known as They Came From Within, 1975’s Shivers tells the heartwarming story of a swanky apartment building, where the residents are infected by parasites who turn them into bloodthirsty, nymphomaniac psychotics. Too bad it won’t be available by Valentine’s Day!
Bonus features include audio commentaries with Cronenberg and Co-Producer Don Carmody, interviews with Cronenberg, actress Lynn Lowry, special make-up effects creator Joe Blasco, and executive producer Greg Dunning, trailers, stills, and more.
