Ohhh man! It’s Ultraman!
The story follows baseball superstar Ken Sato who returns home to Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman, he quickly finds more than he bargained for as he’s forced to raise the offspring of one of his greatest foes.
Ultraman: Rising comes to us from director Shannon Tindle who did one of my favorite movies of all time, Kubo & The Two Strings, & co-director John Aoshima who also worked on Kubo & The Two Strings. Ultraman is based on characters by Eiji Tsuburaya one of the creative minds behind the king of all monsters Godzilla!
Ultraman: Rising will hit Netflix sometime in 2024.
