Well, with San Diego International Comic Con running last weekend, this week’s ten-to-takeaway is dominated by news from this goliath of a comic con. Here’;s what made the list of popular posts this week:
- Surprise guest actor Paul Dano (The Batman) announced The Riddler: Year One at the Jim Lee and Friends panel here.
- Also on the Jim Lee and Friends panel, we leant of Milestone’s publishing plans for Static here.
- The DC Gotham panel announced a whole new bunch of Batman books here. That’s a lot of Batman and family, even for the most hardcore Batman fans.
- Hasbro revealed its upcoming wave of Marvel Legends action figures here, courtesy of Gary Catig, our man on the scene and at the convention.
- SDCC also announced this year’s Eisner Award winner here too.
- One last post from SDCC 2022. IDW’s announcement of a sequel to the highly successful TMNT: The Last Ronin here.
- Moving away from SDCC 2022 and Scott Redmond’s Retcons, Reboots and Resurrections hit the list again here.
- The Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves trailer was a hit. And looks fun too. Check it out here if you haven’t seen it yet.
- The preview for 2000 AD’s The Best of 2000 AD, from Richard Bruton, was the biggest preview by far this week. And you can find it here.
- Finally, Rachel Bellwoar’s interview with the creators of Black Mass Rising from TKO can be read here.
Okay, that’s just about it except from that something extra. I leave you this week with the trailer for Locke & Key Season 3, coming to Netflix this Autumn. Enjoy the trailer, and enjoy the weekend.
