Saturday has rolled round once again and so we present a selection of our most popular posts from the past week in our regular Something for the Weekend round-up:
- San Diego Comic Con is under way this weekend and so we had a good deal of announcements ahead of the big event. Announcements like Dynamite’s rekindling of Frank Frazetta and Ralph Bakshi’s Fire and Ice as well as a Vampirella trading card set, also coming from Dynamite. Plus, Gary Catig reported on the SDCC Severance experience here, as well as the Blizzard con exclusives here.
- Finally from SDCC 2022, BOOM! Studios also announced its con exclusives here too.
- In other non-convention news, BOOM! announced that Once and Future #30 would be the end of this Arthurian inspired series. Read Brendan M Allen’s report here.
- Our RPG gaming expert, Anton Kromoff, brought us a report for this year’s Ennie Awards here.
- He also posted a review for Paizo’s Megadungoen here.
- Tony Thornley revealed new Spider-Men from the multiverse with a first look at Edge of the Spider-Verse #2 here.
- I announced Image Comics’ new historical fiction series, Hitomi, here.
- And, I also announced We Craig’s new Image Comics’ series, Kaya here too.
- We also got a lot of love for Richard Bruton’s Art for Art’s Sake again. Check out last weekend’s post here.
- And then we also had Review Round Up make the list too. Making that your ten-to-takeaway for this weekend.
And, as ever, a little something extra. And this week we have the new trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves to share with you.
