For the first time in seemingly ages, the Predator is a terrifying force thanks to this trailer for Prey. Even its clicking takes on a new, chilling dimension as the story shifts it to the American plains centuries prior to the first Predator film. There, a young hunter name Naru (Amber Midthunder) attempts to prove herself while a Predator comes to the region looking for sport. Her tribe may end up the best sort of game. But as the trailer (below) indicates, even the weapons of the white man will be outclassed by the Predator. Can Naru prove herself in the face of such awesome odds?
Prey comes to Hulu on August 5th.
