Comics’ news, TV news, film news, games new, we’ve got then all. But, what have you been keen to read over this past week? Here’s your regular ten to takeaway:

  1. In comic book news, Image Comics’ announced the first slate of titles for the new shared horror universe co-created by Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino here.
  2. In more Image Comics news (we’re giving you all the good news ahead of the bad news below), Si Spurrier (X-Men), Matías Bergara (Coda), and Matheus Lopes (Supergirl) announced their new comic book series Step By Bloody Step to be co-published by Image and French publishers Éditions Dupuis. Read more here.
  3. And sticking with Image Comics, we brought you the news that it’s currently not willing to recognised the newly formed Comic Book Workers United union. Read my thoughts on this issue here.
  4. Fellow Senior Editor, Brendan M. Allen gave us an exclusive preview for Archie 80th Anniversary Jumbo Comics Digest #5 here.
  5. Publishers of 2000 AD, Rebellion, are bringing back UK cult fantasy film, Hawk the Slayer, to comics this January with Garth Ennis writing. Read more and get a first look at the debut issue here.
  6. In a list dominated by comic book news, I got the chance to talk with Sal Abbinanti about his new Kickstarter for a collected edition of his 12 issue comic book series, Atomika: God is Red here.
  7. It’s Thought Bubble this weekend and the announcement of this year’s alcohol and artist collaboration went down well with you all. Read up on the special brew for this year’s festival here.
  8. It can’t all be about comics, so why not read up on Ben Martin review of writer/director Edgar Wright’s new film, Last Night in Soho, here.
  9. From TV, it was Stranger Things Day last Saturday and the release of the fourth series’ episode titles was enough to make it onto this week’s list. If you missed out, read them all here.
  10. Plus, Sage Ashford reported on the news that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate owners can get 75 days free access to Crunchyroll Premium: Mega Fan. More here.

Not necessarily as varied a list as previous week’s but we are primarily a comic book website and so some weeks will be like this. Although, it’s still a pretty varied week what with news of new titles, crowdfunding and more. Plus, a little extra. And as it’s Thought Bubble this weekend I’ll leave you with Scott Snyder and Rafael Albuquerque in conversation from last year’s online show.
